Where Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center

SeussFest is a special event celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday and the joy of reading. Our celebration is specifically designed as an early childhood literacy event, and focuses primarily on activity skills, music, and storytelling for ages 4 to 8, but all family members are welcome to join in the fun!

Please help us anticipate how many people will attend SeussFest by RSVP-ing. Every family who RSVPs will be entered in a special drawing for a chance to win a giant Cat in the Hat plush doll. Winner will be notified by email. Click here to RSVP on our SeussFest website!

This year we have a magic show, storytellers, petting zoo, arts and crafts, face painters, and much more! Be sure to save the date for this fun early literacy event. Every child gets a free book, while supplies last!

Start celebrating today! Check out the Seuss-inspired book lists created by your Youth Services Librarians.
