  • Appointments must be requested at least two-business days in advance using the online form.
    • Students enrolled in HPD or Law programs should contact their respective NSU Library to request training for medical or law research/resources. The Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center will provide appointments to HPD and Law students in other subject areas as needed.
  • Appointments may be scheduled for a period of up to 30 minutes and are offered Monday through Friday during the times listed on the form in Eastern Standard Time (EST). Weekend appointments are limited and may be available on a case-by-cases basis.
    • Follow-up or additional appointments must be requested after the previous appointment has already occurred. Longer appointments may be scheduled on a case-by-case basis.
  • Patrons must be on time for their appointments. Patrons who are more than 10 minutes late will be asked to reschedule.
  • Library appointments are intended to teach patrons how to use the library and its resources. Librarians are prohibited from doing patrons’ research and/or school-specific assignments and from editing students’ papers or citations.
