Join the Alvin Sherman Library, the JGSBC and the GSBC as we host: 'An Evening of Mapping Madness' with speaker Ron Arons! Learn how maps can open new doors to family history research.

Ron began researching his roots a dozen years ago and has spoken at six previous IAJGS conferences (now 7). Ron has also given presentations on Jewish genealogy and Jewish criminality at Local JGS's, synagogues, JCC's, history conferences, Hadassah, and book fairs across the country and internationally. Last June, after a decade of research, his book-The Jews of Sing Sing - was published. In January, 2008, he discussed Jewish criminals of NY's Lower East Side on PBS TV series The Jewish Americans. Ron earned a BS in Engineering from Princeton and an MBA from the University of Chicago
