Live at the Sherman Library! Miami Momentum Dance Company: The Carnival of the Animals (All Ages)

The Carnival of the Animals is one of the most famous works by classical composer Camille Saint-Saëns which illustrates a series of silly animal stories. Like Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, The Carnival of the Animals provides children with an entertaining introduction to classical music. American poet Ogden Nash wrote a series of poems based on the animal story-songs of Camille Saint-Saëns.

The Miami Momentum Dance Company brings the animal stories to life through the art of modern dance. In addition, children will experience the whimsical side of poetry and classical music.
