Family Tree DNA began the genetic revolution for Genealogists and attended the SLC IAJGS Conference that year in 2000. From those modest beginning FTDNA has become the largest genetic genealogy company in the world with over 300,000 combines records for males and females to compare against. Family Tree DNA was founded by Mr. Bennett Greenspan, an entrepreneur and life-long genealogy enthusiast, turning a hobby into a full-time vocation.
