Genealogical Society of Broward County: Family History Library

Join the GSBC in learning about the Family History Centers from speaker Richard Goodstein.  The original library was “founded in 1894 to gather genealogical records and assist members of the Church of Latter Day Saints with their family history and genealogical research”.    Family History Centers – what do they have to offer?  Where are they and what are their hours?  Can I do this research from home or another computer?  What programs are available?  What sites are available?  What help is available?  Learn the answers to these questions and more.   Mark your calendars and join the GSBC for an informational presentation.

The Genealogical Society of Broward County's monthly meeting is held at the Alvin Sherman Library.

The program begins at 2:30 pm after the GSBC open lab (12, noon - 2 p.m.) and the Genealogical Society of Broward County business meeting (which begins at 2 p.m.).
