Books & Biscotti: Meet and Greet Faculty Author Melisa Santos - CANCELLED

Books & Biscotti is an author series where public library patrons and the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) community get to know the faculty beyond the classroom. In an informal and intimate setting the authors will discuss their books which highlight their life stories and unique interests.

Kicking off the series will be Professor Marlisa Santos. Professor Santos is an associate professor and director of the Division of Humanities in the Farquhar College of Arts and Sciences at Nova Southeastern University. She has published essays on film in numerous edited books, and her areas of research and teaching include film noir, classic film studies, and food and film. Her most recent project is The Dark Mirror: Psychiatry and Film Noir.

Light refreshments will be served. The author’s book, The Dark Mirror: Psychiatry and Film Noir, will be available for purchase at the event, and she will sign copies. The book is also available for purchase before the event at the NSU bookstore, http://www.nova.edu/bookstore
